There is nothing more awesome in the summer for me than wearing colors like yellow and red, that fit perfectly with the sun and makes me feel like I’m in a vacation. This Sunday I felt again like a tourist in Bucharest. I had a guided tour starting from the National Military Club and walked for two kilometers in the city center, hearing funny and interesting stories about interwar Bucharest. It’s the first time I have such a tour, around 100 persons attended and it was a great experience, I found out a lot of details related to the architecture of the buildings and the people who lived here. One of the stops was at the Kretzulescu Church that can be seen in the background of the pictures below. This valuable architecture monument is 300 years old and the red brick makes it so special. The guided tour is organized by ARCEN (Romanian Association for Culture, Education and Normality) and it’s free. A tour like this will be organized every Saturday and Sunday until the 8th of September. I truly recommend this lovely journey in the past exploring the streets of Bucharest.
