Dear summer, I must confess I don’t want to say good bye, not yet. The holiday feeling, the songs that transpose me in the middle of a festival, the colorful dresses and accessories, I still need all of them in my life. Not to mention the outdoor activities. I haven’t been to a picnic or on a boat trip, but I still have hopes. As Eve says, there’s so many things to be done! I just came back from a lovely place I visited for the first time: Valea Doftanei. I stayed at a pension I recommend called Valea Negrasului that is located in the middle of a forest and it’s the best place for rest and relaxation. I wanted to visit Doftana prison but I was disappointed as the place was abandoned. The next destination was Iulia Hasdeu Castle in Campina. The story impressed me – the writer Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu built the castle in the memory of his daughter who died only at 19 of tuberculosis. He was one of the greatest personalities in Romanian culture and his daughter, Iulia, was considered a genius also, as she graduated Sorbona university in Paris so young and wrote poems that were published after her death. I recommend the visit to her castle in order to discover the entire story. Please see below a few photos taken close to the Paltinu lake and Iulia Hasdeu castle. ~~Outfit~~

A place like a fairytale… that’s my description for Campina. I visited it at the end of February but on 2nd July there is a festival, dedicated for the Two Julie, mother and daughter!
