London Bridges

romania_flag_24 34! Nici mai mult nici mai putin! Atatea poduri peste Tamisa sunt in Londra!

united_kingdom_flag_24 34! No less or more! This si the number of bridges across Thames in London. I only had the chance to cross 4 and I was under the impression I saw the most of it. It seems now that I’ll have to come back six times in order to see all the bridges. Or I’ll better have a cruise over Thames to admire all the bridges from the boat. It’s incredible how many things I still have to see in London, even if I got there three times already. The city represents an entire world! I passed the 4 bridges many times: by day, by night, with Eve or with the lonely penguin last spring. Every time the walk over a London bridge was a pleasure. I created my top and it looks like this:

  1.  Tower Bridge – a symbol of London, released 120 years ago. The firts time I saw it I was visiting  Tower of London, the sky was very cloudy and I found it amazing, one of the most beautiful bridges I ever saw.
  2. Westminster Bridge – very close to the Parliament, always full of tourists, this bridge was released 152 years ago.
  3. Charing Cross Bridge – I always chose to cross this bridge walking to the Waterloo train station. the pedestrian part of the bridge was released only 11 years ago. A walk here by night is unforgettable.
  4.  Lambeth Bridge  – I crossed this bridge in my way to Elephant & Castle. I loved it, it’s red and very large and 81 years old.

Please see below a few photos I took around London bridges.
