Pe lista mea mare de locuri de vazut in Londra era inca de data trecuta cand am venit aici Harrods. Am auzit prea multe despre galeriile comerciale de lux si vroiam sa vin sa vad cu ochii mei despre ce e vorba. Daca in mai nu a fost cu noroc, m-am invartit atunci prin zona South Kensington si nu am reusit sa dau de marele magazin, de data asta nu m-am lasat pagubasa cu una cu doua. Am studiat harta, am mai intrebat la fata locului si uite asa am ajuns cu succes la destinatie. Prima raita am dat-o la etajul de haine pentru femei, unde am admirat rochiile celor mai importanti designeri. Am avut parte de o explozie de culoare, de modele care concurau cu cele vazute la Fashion and Textile Museum, ce mai..mi-a placut ce am vazut! Magazinul este incredibil de mare si nu aveam prea mult timp alocat pentru el asa ca am trecut si pe la etajul dedicat decoratiunilor interioare. Desi era doar sfarsit de octombrie am fost bulversata de avalansa de globuri, brazi impodobiti, dulciuri si jucarii de parca era ajunul Craciunului…Mai lipseau colindele si Mos Craciun si tabloul era complet. Imi amintesc ca acelasi soc l-am avut in 2011 in San Francisco, am ajuns acolo prin noiembrie si un grup de copii canta de zor colinde in mall. Magic! e tot ce pot sa spun…in curand o sa inceapa din august magazinele sa promoveze ofertele pentru cadourile de Craciun.  Harrods was on my to-see list for London since my first trip here. I heard too many things about this shop and I wanted to see what is it about. Back in May I tried to get to Harrods but I spined around South Kensington and I didn’t find the commercial gallery. This time I tried more, studied the map and asked around until I get to the fabulous place. I had the first glance at the women clothes floor, I admired here dresses created by the most important designers, lovely colors and patterns just like the one I saw at the Fashion and Textile Museum. I really loved what I saw. The store is so big and I haven’t too much time to spend in it, so I moved on the interior decorations floor. Even if it was late October, I was shocked by the avalanche created by the X-mas trees, tinsel, X-mas balls, sweets and toys. Only carols and Santa were missing and the scene was complete. I remember I had the same impression in 2011 in San Francisco, I got there in November and a group of kinds were singing carols in a shopping mall. Magical!
