Dupa ultima mea excursie la Londra in luna mai am facut un top 3 al locurilor mele preferate aici. Locul I il ocupa detasat Kensington Palace, deoarece aici am aflat povestea emotionanta a reginei Victoria, am vazut camerele unde ea si-a petrecut toata viata, locul de unde a condus practic lumea. Frumusetea palatului nu poate fi descrisa in cuvinte. Cand s-a ivit oportunitatea ca eu si Eve sa venim impreuna la Londra, ea doar ce terminase de citit Viata secreta a Printesei Diana. Primul lucru pe care mi l-a spus a fost: “Ivo, trebuie sa ajungem la Kensington Palace!”. M-am bucurat tare mult ca o sa revad cu ea acest loc plin de istorie. Duminica, dupa lectiile de fizica si matematica pe care le-am luat la Science Museum, am continuat cu una de istorie la Kensington Palace. Pe drumul spre parc ne-a plouat, insa bucuria noastra a fost imensa cand am ajuns acolo si soarele a rasarit. Cum nu avea cine sa ne faca poze, am folosit un trepied si o telecomanda. Va las sa va delectati cu pozele de mai jos. Daca mana mea pare intr-o pozitie ciudata, sa stiti ca este din cauza faptului ca trebuia sa tin minitelecomanda si sa apas butonul care declansa aparatul.
After my last trip in London in May I came home and created a Top 3 places I love in London. The first place is covered by Kensington Palace, as here I lived the amazing story of Queen Victoria, I saw the rooms where she stayed with her family, where she held important events, the place from where she ran the world. It’s hard for me to describe the beauty of this palace..it’s hard to find the right words. When the oportunity came for me and Eve to visit London together, she just finished reading a book about the secret life of Princess Diana. The first thing she said to me was “Ivo, we must visit Kensington Palace!”. I had such a great time with her in Kensington Park, a place full of history. It was raining cats and dogs in our way to the royal park, but when we got there, the rain stopped and the sun was up. That made us so happy! As we were only the two of us, we used a tripod and a remote control to take the photos. If my hand looks strange in the pictures, this is because I had the remote control to trigger the camera. Pentru Kensington cred ca trebuie sa rezervi mult mai mult timp! Chiar sa iti acoryi placerea de a citi cateva pagini tolanit pe iarba in cazul in care vremea e buna sau pe o banca. Sa ai alune sau seminte pentru veveritele curioase.
Imi aduc aminte razand cand puneam la cale excursia la Londra si se suprapunea cu nunta Alexutei, cand boceam si ziceam ca eu vreau sa vad si Palatul Kensington dar sa dansez si la nunta. Iata ca le fac pe amandoua! 🙂 hihi
Da…ma distrez copios cand imi amintesc cum plangeai! E bine cand totul se termina cu bine! Si cu vizita la palat si cu dantzuit la nunta!
